About
In reference to William Morris’s essay published in 1885, "How We Live and How We Might Live". We believe that there is inherent beauty in work, and in what is produced. Based and ethically made in London, How We Live Now aims to reframe how we think of clothing. Clothing has become anthropomorphized. A skirt is not a skirt insofar as it is now a character that you put on. It is a fetishism of "things" that transforms clothing into masks. How We Live Now demands nothing of the wearer, and allows clothes to just be clothes, as something both of beauty and of utility.
